the mouse

 the mouse

It is a pointing device that allows the user to interact with a graphical environment on a computer screen by moving a pointer or cursor to select and operate elements with its buttons.

How does it work?

-Sensors: Modern mice use optical or laser sensors to detect movements on a surface.

-Cursor movement: When you move the mouse, a pointer or arrow on the screen moves, reflecting the direction and distance of the physical movement.

-Buttons and wheel:

-Left button: Used to select, click, and drag objects on the screen.

-Right button: Used to open context menus or access additional functions.

-Scroll wheel: Allows you to quickly move up and down in documents, web pages, and other screens.

Types and Features

-Wired: These connect to the computer via a USB port.

-Wireless: These devices are wireless and communicate with the computer via Bluetooth or a USB receiver. They require batteries to operate.

-Trackball: These devices have a ball on top that you rotate with your fingers to move the pointer.

-Touchpad: A touch-sensitive pad built into laptops that allows you to control the cursor with finger gestures.
