For this project, we first measured the angles with the application and then put them in the table we created in Excel. Then we did all the operations and got that graph, which shows an increasing trend when it should be decreasing, but the data and everything else is correct.

GIMP4

In this project I transformed a photograph of my school into a museum using the program GIMP. I added artworks from the Museo del Prado such as Las Hilanderas and Las Meninas , both painted by Diego Velázquez. To do this, I worked with layers, selection tools and perspective transformation, adjusting the size and position so that the paintings look integrated into the school walls. With this project I learned how to use layers better and how to integrate images while respecting proportion and space.                                                                            initial image:  pictures I use:                                                     ...

First , I selected a photograph that met the requirements (good resolution, natural light, and landscape format). Then , I corrected the perspective and inclination using the Perspective and Rotate tools in GIMP. After that , I cropped the image to a 15:10 aspect ratio and removed unwanted elements using the Clone tool. Next , I added my name in a discreet place on the photograph. Finally , I saved the project as an .xcf file and exported the final image as a .jpg .

flags

swiss flag To make the Swiss flag, I first created a red square using the rectangle tool and set it to the correct red color. Then I drew the white cross using two rectangles with the same thickness. I aligned everything properly with the Align and Distribute tool so the cross would be exactly centered. Once everything was in place, then filled them with the corresponding color and wrote my name. and saved the file european union flag  For the European Union flag, I started by drawing a blue rectangle with the correct proportions. Then I created a yellow star using the star tool, setting it to 5 points with the typical shape. I placed one star at the top and then duplicated and rotated it around the center of the document until I had 12 stars forming a perfect circle, then i wrote my name and   wrote my name. and saved the file camerun flag I chose to make the flag of Cameroon because I’m interested in African culture and wanted to practice designing with bright colo...

the graphics card

Image
graphics card A graphics card is a computer hardware component responsible for processing and displaying images, videos, and animations on the monitor. What does it do? -Image rendering: Translates data from the CPU into images displayed on the screen. -Improves the visual experience: Provides a smooth, high-quality visual experience. -Accelerates processing: Speeds up graphical tasks, improving overall performance. Key components of a graphics card -GPU (Graphics Processing Unit): This is the central chip that processes information, and its power determines the card's performance. -GRAM (Graphics Memory): This is the graphics card's dedicated video memory that stores and transports graphic information. -Cooling system: Includes fans or other mechanisms to maintain the card's temperature, as it processes a lot of energy. Types of graphics cards -Dedicated graphics card: This is a separate component, with its own memory and processing power, ideal for demanding tasks such ...

hard drive

Image
the hard drive The hard drive is a fundamental component in a computer that serves as a non-volatile storage unit, preserving data and files permanently, even when the computer is turned off. What is it used for? -Permanent storage: Securely stores all your files and the operating system so you can access them every time you turn on your computer. -System base: It is an essential component for the computer to boot and function, as it contains all the programs and data necessary for it. Types of hard drives: -HDD (Hard Disk Drive): This is the traditional hard drive, which uses rotating platters coated with magnetic material to store information. They are inexpensive and offer large storage capacities. -SSD (Solid State Drive): These are more modern drives that have no mechanical parts, but instead use flash memory to store data. They are much faster, more energy-efficient, and more reliable than HDDs. Location: -Internal: Most hard drives are located inside the computer case, whet...
